At Disney Land, Disney wanted leverage park attendance to drive viewership and title awareness for the new Percy Jackson and the Olympians show on Disney+.

Process

We began by thinking about what would get Disney Parks fans to approach our activation and participate in it and what parts of the story of Percy Jackson would get lend well to an AR medium.

Our results needed to be tangible through social media with hashtags and photo shares being the biggest KPI’s.

Our project ended up being based on the “Godly Parents” that fans fantasize about. Teenagers reading the books often found meaning and identity in the notion that they were misunderstood because they were half human and half Greek God.
